Navigator Recruiting client is a well-established and well-respected CPA firm in the west/northwest metro Denver area offering audit and tax services to companies in and around the Denver metro area. The company is seeking someone at the Audit Senior level, with 3+ years of public accounting audit experience. The firm is very flexible and employees can work from home every day of the week in the non-busy season and come into the office one day per week during busy season. So this role is mostly remote but the hired candidate must live in Colorado as the role is technically hybrid and not 100% remote. Clients are business clients (not governmental or non-profit) and are in a variety of industries such as real estate, construction, professional services, manufacturing and others.
Responsibilities
- Leading audit engagements of clients (many are 2-3 person engagements) and reviews and direct client contact with a consistent and loyal client base in exciting industries
- Training and coaching new staff members in preparation to take on more complex assignments and additional engagements
- HOURS: 50-60 hrs/wk during busy season (1/15 – 4/15); 40 hrs/wk in non-busy season
- TRAVEL: All local; minimal overnights.
Requirements
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 3+ years’ public accounting audit experience
