$150,000 - $170,000 Base + Bonuses up to $35K + Commission + Full Benefits Package
The Senior Audit Manager leads the firm’s assurance services for Community Interest Realty Associations (CIRAs), including condominium associations, homeowners’ associations, cooperatives, and other common-interest realty entities. The position is responsible for the quality, efficiency, profitability, and timely completion of a high-volume portfolio of assurance engagements.
This role serves as a trusted advisor and primary relationship manager for key clients, provides technical and professional leadership to engagement teams, and helps expand the firm’s presence in a referral-driven specialty practice. The Senior Audit Manager also represents the firm within relevant professional and industry organizations.
A full benefits package is offered including a competitive base salary and excellent bonuses, commission, as well as other benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401K with a match, vacation, and the ability to work from home most of the time (when not at a client site). This role can be mostly done 100% remotely. The chosen individual may need to go to client sites and into the office on an occassional basis. Clients are on the West Coast of Florida between Tampa and Naples, so the chosen individual must live in this area.

Responsibilities:
- Engagement Leadership and Portfolio Management: Lead a high-volume portfolio of audit and other assurance engagements from planning through report issuance.
- CIRA Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical resource on accounting, auditing, reporting, and regulatory matters affecting CIRAs.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients.
- Business Development and Practice Growth: Develop and maintain referral relationships with attorneys, property managers, bankers, insurance professionals, reserve specialists, and other CIRA industry participants.
- Engagement Team Leadership: Plan engagement staffing and provide clear direction to engagement team members.
- Quality, Ethics, and Risk Management: Maintain independence, integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality in accordance with professional and firm requirements.
- Governmental and Yellow Book Responsibilities (when applicable): Ensure planning, testing, documentation, supervision, and reporting comply with Government Auditing Standards (when assigned to engagements subject to GAS).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
- Active Florida CPA license or an active CPA license in another jurisdiction with the ability to obtain Florida licensure within an established period.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible public-accounting assurance experience.
- Five or more years of substantive CIRA assurance experience at the manager level or above.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting matters affecting Florida community associations.
- Ability to travel to client locations, industry events, and firm offices as required.
- Ability to work additional hours during periods of peak engagement activity.
