Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 + up to 10% Bonus

Navigator Recruiting client is one of the most reputable CPA firms in Colorado Springs and offers audit, tax and consulting services to public and non-public companies in a variety of industries in and around the Colorado Springs metro area. This individual will be responsible for developing meaningful client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to our clients. You’ll work closely with the Business Advisory Director in serving clients and companies simultaneously.. You will develop, plan, manage and analyze performance relative to clients. You will also manage the reporting and analysis of monthly financial results, operating metrics, forecasts, plans and strategic initiatives and communicating results to the client.

Responsibilities
 
  • Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic analytics studies to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making per client needs.
  • You’ll work closely and collaboratively with professionals across the firm, as our departments crossserve many clients.
  • Serve multiple clients/ entities at the same time
  • Ability to proactively gather and synthesize data from internal and/or external sources
  • Lead data-driven financial planning by coordinating reporting, planning, and forecasting
  • Developing models and leading processes to provide monthly forecast and annual operating plan
  • Monitoring performance metrics, surfacing trends, and performing research and analysis to understand influencing factors
  • Drive strategic impact by modeling and analyzing new business opportunities
  • Analyzing key business initiatives
  • Following through on execution of initiatives and evaluating their impact
  • Providing strategic support to senior management
  • Monitor ongoing business performance and prepare presentations that communicate both financial results and operating issues to senior management
  • Conduct monthly reviews with management to ensure business units are met and/or exceed financial targets
  • Develop feasibility studies and business models to evaluate new business opportunities
  • Create and implement mechanisms to track and report key financial and operating metrics
 
Requirements
 
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration with 6 or more years of experience in a finance function or business analysis
  • 5 years or more of supervisory or team leading background
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication- / relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in reporting, modeling and analysis in Excel
  • Experience in budget/ planning process management Competencies Preferred
  • CPA License
  • Ability to extract insight from data and translate into actionable plans
  • Fluency in communicating complex business concepts, both in speech and writing
  • Comfort collaborating with individuals in all levels and functions of the company
  • Enthusiasm for meeting deadlines and multi-tasking in time-sensitive situations
  • Highly organized, work proactively and efficiently by completing tasks and deadlines; hands-on individual with initiative and problem-solving skills
