Company Information
Navigator Recruiting client is a local CPA firm in south Denver (with one out of state office as well) and is seeking an Audit Senior. There are opportunities for this individual to grow with the firm and become Manager one day. Although the firm’s client-base is national and international, travel is minimal. This firm is growing and now has 75 employees in two offices. There are opportunities to continue to be promoted to Manager and become partner, as this firm has a need for experienced people at the upper level to support its continued growth.  This firm is a bit unique in that it doesn’t have any 600 hour audit engagements. Typically, audits engagements at this firm are much shorter (so this firm has higher volume audits) and the audits are typically one-person jobs, requiring the auditors to be good multitaskers. Good review and supervisory skills are key, especially as one moves into a Manager role with this firm. Most employees are working remotely due to COVID-19 but in non-COVID times the firm has good comradery in the office, offers sports leagues for its employees, barbeques on the patio every Wednesday through the summer. Even before COVID, the firm recognized a productive employee does not have to be in the office all the time and encouraged employees to be in the office for core hours from 10 am – 3 pm in the summer and 9 am – 4 pm during busy season and as a result, the firm had seen its productivity increase from allowing its employees to work from home more. There are no mandatory Saturdays during busy season. A full benefits package is offered, including 4 weeks of PTO, half-day Fridays through the summer, a 401k plus a 20% match and health insurance.
